About ASSEB
In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the Assam government merged the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) into the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) in 2024. ASSEB officially came into existence on September 13, 2024, and now functions as:
