Eligibility Criteria
Nationality & Domicile
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen as per Articles 5-8 of the Constitution of India.
- Must be a permanent resident of Assam and provide a valid Permanent Resident Certificate or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
Educational Qualification
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized university with at least second-class honors (Major) in a specific subject or distinction in degree course.
Experience Requirement
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a responsible and senior position in a government department or undertaking, holding a rank not below:
- Assistant Manager (AM)
- Superintendent of Industries (SI)
- Assistant Industries Officer (AIO)
- Salary must align with the Assam Service (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017.

- Minimum Age: 25 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years (as of January 1, 2025)
